Why go trekking?

For the past two decades I have been working as a trekking guide. And at the same time I get question like “why do I trek”. I get asked this questions all the time when I am visiting my family in the village or my friends. They always said “Isn’t it tiring or stressful”. But the only stress I get is from the hustling and bustling of the city. But the adventure, peace, adrenaline rush that I get from doing trekking is simply amazing. Not only the rush but also the beauty that comes along the journey and peace of mind is something I can’t have being all the time in the city. So, here are my thoughts tot up into an article.

For Nature

My country Nepal being the landlocked country has so much more to discover and explore. I just try to explore all the beauty by trekking the most part of Nepal. Hence. I get to visit all this different places with beautiful scenery.

For Adrenaline Rush

Even though trekking is one thing that brings happiness in my life but I can’t always be with nature. So whenever I go to trekking I try to capture as much as beauty from the nature. Thus, one more reason I do trek is to be with nature. But the adventure, peace, adrenaline rush that I get from doing trekking is simply amazing. Not only the rush but also the beauty that comes along the journey and peace of mind is something I can’t have being all the time in the city.

For the Motivation

Other than that it keeps me fit and gives great motivation to move forward in life. Also positive mindset towards the society. Sometimes it’s just become much to handle with all the work, family, responsibility and all. So, trek works like detox where I can free my mind of thoughts. Its gives opportunity to put things into perspective.

For the hobby – Photography

Other than that I am interested in photography though I am not a great photographer. I try to capture all the moments of the places I have been and like to keep memories. Therefore, trek helps to rekindle with my hobbies.

As for me these are the reason why do trek and loves so much too.

Recently, I did Kailash trek representing my company with a group of 15 people.  As always I had fun and peace of mind from this trek as well. For me trek works just like a “medicine”. Keeps me away from stress.
People do trek all the time with different purposes. These are the reason I do trek. Everybody have their own reason to do trek so did I. And the cure I get from it is just amazing. Lastly, you can have your own reason to do trek
