The Tribhuwan International Airport is the only international airport in Nepal right now. Besides international flights, this airport also offers domestic flight service within the country, including Pokhara, Lukla, Bharatpur, and Bhairahawa. Since Nepal is a small country, the duration of most domestic flights no longer than 58 minutes. Buddha Air, Yeti Air, Nepal Airlines, Agni Air, Simrik Air, Sita Air, and Tara Air are some of the major airline's companies of Nepal

TAXI


If you are visiting Kathmandu for a short duration and wish to take the tour of some of the important tourist sites,  then taking a taxi is the best option. Taxi service is available in virtually all parts of the city. Besides the tour around the city, you can also take the taxi services to visit outside the capital to places like Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Panauti, Kakani, and Daman. Car rental services are also available for which you can contact local travel agencies.

MOTORCYCLE

Another convenient way of touring around Kathmandu Valley is on a motorcycle. Motorcycle rental service is available at Thamel and other parts of the city.

BUS

Public bus services are available in Kathmandu. Which is the cheapest way to getting from one place to another. There are two main bus stations in Kathmandu. While the bus station at Baghbazar mostly operates bus services around Kathmandu valley, Gongabu Bus park at Gongabu, Balaju. Operate long-distance bus services outside Kathmandu valley. Long-distance tourist bus services to Pokhara and Chitwan from Kaldhara.

BICYCLE

Cycling is one of the best ways to tour the hills and outskirt village around Kathmandu valley. Cycle rental services are available are Thamel and other parts of the city
